Vitthal Temple

Location

A holy shrine of quite antiquity that holds Vithoba, a localized version of lord Krishna is one among the numerous devout destinations in Pandharpur. Lord Karthikeya Temple

Lord Karthikeya temple is located at Rajpuri Caves in Panchgani. The temple is dedicated to Lord Karthikeya (Lord Muruga, Son of Lord Shiva). Rajpuri caves got the religious importance due to this famous temple. Thaipooyam festival during January-February month is celebrated here with lots of enthusiasm. Ram Temple

Ram temple is an ancient temple located at Kapad Bazar near Sitladevi temple in Palghar. According to the legends it was in this temple Lord Rama and brother Lakshmana were imprisoned, when they were captured by Mahiravan and Ahiravan, until Lord Hanuman rescued them.

The temple was renovated in 1994 and it attracts many Ram devotees. Thursdays and Saturdays are very important in this temple. Ram Navami is an important festival celebrated here with much celebration and chanting of rituals

Shitila Devi Temple

Kalaram Temple

Sardar Odhekar of Peshwa built this simple, large temple in 1782.The main deities Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshmana are pretty black in colour and festooned with knick-knacks. The gold plated copper dome and other sculptures of this magnificient shrine displays brilliant structural design. Built with black stones, the70 feet high temple happens to be the busiest temples in the locality.
