Chamunda Devi Mandir

Location

The temple of Chamunda Devi was constructed by Raja Naun Karan, who is said to be one of the greatest devotees of the Goddess. The temple was constructed in the heart of the city and after the tenure of the king, during the mughals, the temple fell into ruins. After independence, the people of the area discovered this ancient temple again and till date, special celebrations are held here during the popular festival of Ramnavmi, that is believed to be the day on which Lord Rama was born. People who come here to seek blessings, believe that their wished are fulfilled upon praying here.

Hanuman Temple Complex Raghunath Pura

Location

About 5 km to the west of the Narnaul region, is the Hanuman Temple Complex Raghunath Pura, which is a popular pilgrim place. Special pujas are aartis are held every Tuesday, that are attended by devotees in large numbers. There is a statue of Lord Hanuman, about 63 ft high and was installed in the year 1999 by a merchant. Ambika Devi Mandir

Ambika Devi Mandir is not only the oldest shrines but also an origin of the place. Dedicated to Goddess Amba, Ambika and Ambalika, the ancient Hindu shrine was constructed before the British Raj. One of the highlights of the temple is the paintings on the upper walls and ceilings., which have faded over the years.

The ancient Hindu shrine is situated close to the old civil hospital, which can be approached by road. from any part of the city.

Jain Mandir

Jain Mandir is one of the most revered worship centres in the region and, which is believed to house 2,500 years old idols. Situated at Ambala Sadar, the shrine houses four idols of Jain deities in the temple. According to the folklore, the Jain Temple was established 150 years ago.
