Sri Bedi Anjaneyaswami Temple

A temple, which reminiscent the childhood days of Hanuman, the temple of Sri Anjaneyaswamyis prettily situated on the banks of Pushkarini. Its faces the Mahadwaram of Sri Venkateswara shrine. It is said that the temple was constructed in the period of Mahant. This legendary holy shrine was built as per the Vishnavite tradition expressing the idol hands joining the model of postulation.

Legend has that Hanuman flee to Seshachalam to get him the Camel Vehicle. To prevent him from doing so, Hanuman’s mother handcuffed him. Every Sunday there would be special abhishekam and poojas in honour of this great devotee of Rama. The most auspicious festival that being celebrated in the temple is Hanuman Jayanthi.
