Guru Teg Bahadur used to deliver sermons at Gurudwara Thara Sahib. There is a place marked within the Gurudwar to indicate where the Kashmiri Brahmins came to him to seek protection from the Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb as they were being forced to convert to Islam.
The 9th Guru used to deliver sermons from this raised platform. There is place to mark the spot where the Kashmiri Brahmins came to seek protection.
