Saas bahu Temple

Location

Nadga is a sleepy little village, northwest of Udaipur, that is home to the beautiful Saas Bahu Temple complex. Nagda originally called as Nagdhara was founded by 4th Mewar King Nagaditya in the 6th century. the city was former capital of Mewar dynsty who ruled over nagda for seven generations. After the Mewar rule ended, the administartion of Nagda changed many hands. Different rules built many temples in and around the town of Nagda. Ruins of Shiva and Vishnu temples are found in plenty.

Uthirakosamangai

Location

Uthirakosamangai is a Shaiva temple situated near Ramanathapuram. The temple has been glorified by the hymns of Manickavasagar. The temple is considered sacred along the lines of Ramanathapuram, Sethu Madhava Theertham and Lakshmana Theertham. There is an ancient maragatha Nataraja idol carved out of emerald inside the temple. The temple is located 32 km East from Paramakkudi and 10 km west from Ramanathapuram. The annual Arudra festival in December attracts a large number of tourists.

Lalji Temple

Location

Built by Birsinhga II of Malla dynasty in AD 1658. The Lalji Temple has an established grandeur among the laterite Eka-Ratna temples registered in and around Bishnupur. Dedicated to Sri Radhika and Sri Krishna, this temple bears similar architectural concepts as many of the earlier temples.
