Srinivasa Perumal Temple is a Vaishnav Temple located at Papanasam near Kumbakonam. The temple is dedicated to Srinivasa Perumal, a distinct form of Lord Vishnu. The temple is constructed by Chola Kings during their rein in the Kumbakonam region.
The temple architecture is imposing with a huge tower, Mantapa and artistically built sanctum sanctorum. The important festival in this temple is the procession of the Garuda Vahanam. The Garuda Vahanam will be taken out of the temple premises on the tenth day of the famous Brahmotsavam. Shrines dedicated to Arulmugu Lakshmi (Thayar) and other Gods are also seen in the premises.
