Dai ka Mahal

This "mahal" is actually a tomb complex, which includes the tomb itself, an attached mosque, and a set of rooms. The literature says that these rooms were for caretakers of the tombs, but they might have acted as serais as well.

Another aspect which seems ubiquitous in Mandu is a pool, lake or some sort of water body attached to or nearby every important structure.
