Location
Yadiyur is located at a distance of 52 km from Tumkur and 90 km from Bangalore on Mangalore - Bangalore highway. Yadiyur is one of the important pilgrim centres of Karnataka. The Siddhalingeshvara temple found here is a large Dravidian structure and it attracts devotees all through the year. The annual car festival is held during the bright half of Chaitra month of Hindu calendar.
