Sri Kancha Kanti Devi Mandir is a popular pilgrim spot in the vicinity of Silchar, located about 15 km away. Thetemple is dedicated to Mother Goddess, who is the union of Goddess Durga and Goddess Kali. The four-armed gold idol of the temple was made in 1806 by one of the Kings of Kachari Dynasty.
