Location
Raja Maidam is one of the popular tourist attractions of Majuli, which has a vault of King Purandar Sinha. The monument was built as a tribute to the king, who died on 1st October, 1894. Situated on the south bank of Tocklai River, the sanctum was constructed to house the ashes of the late king.
