Location
Located about 33 kms from Bilaspur, a dam built on River Kharung, Khuntaghat is a picnic spot with a beautiful garden. The picturesque landscape of Khuntaghat attracts tourists throughout the year. There is a rest house maintained by irrigation department available for interested tourists.
Udaypur Caves - Bilaspur
Located on the Bilaspur - Ambikapur Highway, there are several caves in the vicinity of Udaypur village. According to the legend, Lord Ram and Sita are believed to have stayed in these caves during their exile. One of the caves has an ancient theater complete with green rooms, stage and open auditorium and another one has cave paintings done in red and grey. There are 2 big caves - Sitabengra and Hatipol.
