Location
Deosal village is located near the Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary. It is believed that this village was the ashram of Maharishi Valmiki, where Goddess Sita lived after she was abandoned by Lord Rama. The site is popular for its temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. A festival is held at the site during the occasion of Shivaratri.
