Chamunda Devi Mandir

The temple of Chamunda Devi was constructed by Raja Naun Karan, who is said to be one of the greatest devotees of the Goddess. The temple was constructed in the heart of the city and after the tenure of the king, during the mughals, the temple fell into ruins. After independence, the people of the area discovered this ancient temple again and till date, special celebrations are held here during the popular festival of Ramnavmi, that is believed to be the day on which Lord Rama was born. People who come here to seek blessings, believe that their wished are fulfilled upon praying here.
