Saheliyon-ki-Bari

Location

Saheliyon-ki-Beri is a majestic garden located in one of the shores of Fateh Sagar Lake. It is believed that this garden was built for 48 young beautiful girls who were given to royal house as part of the dowry for a princess.

The garden with a background of wooded hilly terrains has expensive lawns, shady cool walking lanes and imposing fountains. There are four ponds with exquisite fountains with spouts as elephant trunk shaped and kiosks. The appearance of the Garden is royal and is a best place to relax.

Chambal Gardens

Location

Chambal Garden, a beautiful garden in the backdrop of Chambal river, is the much sought picnic spot in Kota. The garden located at Amar Niwas on the softy landscape of Chambal river encloses a well maintained pond, a habitat for crocodiles. A suspension bridge facilitating the crossing of the bridge is very attractive.

It is a park for children and adults. The plenty of playing field in the park make this place a weekend destination for families. Boat riding in the pond offers exciting moments for the visitors.

Mandore Gardens

Location

Takhat Sagar Lake is situated near the Takhat Sagar Hills, which is about 10 kilometres away from the main city of Jodhpur. The secluded Siddhnath Shiv temple is situated between the Takhat Sagar Hills.

The isolated temple attracts a large number of devotees each year despite the poor road that connects the temple with the city. Takhat Sagar Lake can be considered as a part of the vast Kailana Lake. Takhat Sagar Lake is named after an erstwhile king of Jodhpur. Maharaja Takhat Singh was a king of Jodhpur in the 19th century. Kailana Lake was constructed during his time

Akal Wood Fossil Park

Location

Akal Wood Fossil Park: Akal wood fossils park located at Jaisalmer spreads over 21 hectare. It is assumed that this park has an age of about 180 million years. This is a natural real wonder and the whole area is protected and preserved presently due to its archaeological worth. It is believed that more fossils are lying in deep and still excavations are going on in this region.

Bada Bagh

Location

Bada Bagh, literally means big garden, is a entertaining garden located at Jaisalmer. It is founded in the 16th century by Maharawal Jait Singh and completed the construction during his son’s (Lunakaran’s) reign.

This garden is attracted by three majestic views of dam, water tank and the garden itself. The garden encloses a pillar known as Govardhan Stambh, on which the names of water tank and dam (Jaitsar and Jait Bandh respectively) are inscribed. The names were given to honor the man Jait who built the dam and tank.

Central Park

Location

The modern face of Central Park had been attributed by the grand plan put forward by the Jaipur development authority. Jaipur’s vivacious outlook has been improved much by the appealing charisma of this outstanding garden. Central park now holds all the amenities of a modern theme park where people can spend hours in the enthralling and imposing atmosphere. Its vast stretch of seasonal plants with their inscrutable aroma makes any visitor spellbound.

Ram Niwas Garden

Location

Vidyadhar Garden

Location

A thriving garden that commemorates the memory of an illustrious ruler of yester years, Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, the Vidhyadhar Garden presents a charming appearance. It is a symphony of Mugal and contemporary Indian architecture. With its marvelously chiseled fountains, vivacious pavilions, sylvan lakes and stunning galleries the garden looks really imposing. The Mural paintings portraying lord Krishna adds its magical charm.

Kshar Bagh

Location

The Kshar Bagh is a very old yet beautiful garden near the Shikar Burj. The striking commemorative plaques of previous Bundi rulers are placed in these majestic gardens. They are excellent examples of the majestic architecture, which is a typical feature of Rajasthan.

The Kshar Bagh is not open for the public and prior consent is necessary for visiting the garden.

Lendi Bagh

Location

The park was made and tended to by Baba. Sai Baba lit an earthen lamp here called Deepgriha which is today enclosed in a glass pit to keep it burning. Lendi Baug also has a Samadhi of Shyamsunder, a horse that would bow whenever he passed Sai Baba.

Lendibagh is located on the Shirdi-Manmad State Highway. Baba used to spend a lot of time in the garden. This garden is known as Lendibagh. The garden is now beautifully decorated.

There is a stone in Dwarakamai which was brought from Lendibagh. Legend says that this stone was used by the villagers to wash clothes. But one day they saw Baba sitting on it. Thus the stone came to Dwarakamai and is held as holy.
