One among the magnificent features that capture the attention of the visitors is the fabulous Company Garden set adjacent to the Palace. It is quite amazing to see that such lustrous greenery situates in the sandiest region of the country. An awe-inspiring chhatri with remarkable Bengali top and bends is placed in the midst of this verdant greenery.
Apart from its splendid foliage, this lovely garden boasts of an outstanding formation, which is called Shimla house. A large vaulted structure, this was built by Maharaja Mangal Singh as a summerhouse. This is the most alluring part of the garden and the visitors can enjoy the beauty of the luxuriant vegetation by a promenade through the nice pathways set in here.
Entry to the park is free and the summerhouse open from 9 am to 5 pm.
