The sculptures that are displayed are collected from places like Pilak, Udaipur, Jolaibari and other places of the state.

These are works of art that are largely appreciated for the variety of theme and style. The sculptures mostly date back to the time period of 9th to 13th century. One can find some exclusive Terracotta sculptures in Tripura. Most of these figures are known to be collected from places like Pilak and Amarpur.
