Cotton textured saris(womens?s ware) and dhotis(mens?s ware) of Salem district are very famous . These have very pure cotton texture and weavers work on the three- shuttle weave loom. Beautiful eyes of peacocks and cuckoos are the main and attractive motifs weaved on the saris and the dhotis.
