The small hamlet of Siddapur lies in the Malnad region at an average elevation of 564 m. Situated within the Western ghats with the River Cauvery flowing on one side and the Dubare Reserve Forest on the other side.
Originally called Siddhapura, meaning the “Place of Divine”, Siddapur is known for its coffee estates, lush forests and hilly terrain. An ideal destination for trekkers, Siddapur is surrounded by plantations of cardamom, pepper, vanilla, pineapples, Arecanut (supari) and the jasmine.
