In India we celebrate many festivals and Navratri is also one of the major festivals in India. It's 9 days of celebration followed by Dusshera and Diwali in few weeks. People believe that these auspicious days are good to start a business and they visit temples to take blessings. During this time all the temples are decorated and lighted. Communal feast known as bhandaras are also organized. People also fast on these days, they don’t eat food but only fruits and especially made Vrat food and at the end of ninth day we girls are worshiped as they are considered like devi and people invite them to their homes for pooja.

Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Mother Goddess Mahalakshmi. Sharda Mata Temple

Maihar wali Mata Temple is situated on a trikuta hill of maihar in the state called heart of India. The sacred and holy temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peeth of goddess Parvati,where the necklace of Sati fell. Millions of pilgrims visit the temple all-round the year. Kanaka Durga Temple

Kanaka Durga Temple is a famous hindu Temple of Goddess Durga located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The temple is located on the Indrakeeladri hill, on the banks of Krishna River.
