Location
A steep uphill trek leads to the Z point, an enchanting precious point, a vantage spot at Kemmangundi. Spectacular, mind refreshing sunset is on offering on this hilltop, a favourite place of visitors to view this splendor. The 'Z' shaped path that is visible from a distance between two mountains is the trekking path, hence the name Z point.
Z-point also offers a nice ariel view of the distant Shola grasslands in the undulated Western ghats. Z point offers so much for the body and mind, once reached here, one hesitates to go back.
Shanti falls, a waterfall gently and beautifully blended the enroute to Z-point, is marvelous.
