Location

The Yoganandeeshwara Temple was built by the Cholas. Shiva, the austere, is the resident of the temple. Most of the attention is taken by the two Dwarpalakas which guard the entrance of the temple. This temple is on the top of the hill.

The temple serves the students of architecture and sculpture as a study centre. This temple has an inscription and it is believed that the dedication is in the name of Sambhaji the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji. The prayers of the people is taken to God through the inscription which is known as ‘Kodi Maram’.
