Location
The temple is located on the Billigiri Rangana Betta hills popularly known as BR Hills. The hills are 120 km long. It is a lofty hillock. It is 5091 feet above sea level. The place is an enchanting one.
The Temple has Venkataramana as its main deity. The Lord is popularly known as Bulgier Rangaswamy. There is a fine witnessing platform behind this temple.
There is a wildlife sanctuary near the temple on the hill. This sanctuary has elephants, bison, deer samba and many other wild animals.
