Location
Veerabhadra Swamy Shrine is located outside the central Mookambika temple. There are many shrines in the outer parikrama devoted to parivara devatas, the accompanying deities. One of the parivara devata is Veerabhdran, a manifestation of Lord Shiva. Other deities placed in the outer parikrama are Panchalingeswara and Shri Paarthesara.
Lord Shiva is worshipped in Veerabhadra Swamy temple. Special pujas are offered at this temple during Maha Shivaratri. People believe that the visit to Mookambika temple is not complete without offering Puja at this shrine.
All pilgrims visiting Mookambika temple visit this temple also unfailingly. The shrine is imposing with daily pujas and rituals.
