Deemed University Sri Sathya Sai University, was founded by Sathya Sai Baba in November 1981. Formerly known as the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, was renamed as the Sri Sathya Sai University, and Sai Baba himself is the chancellor of the institute. This University has three campuses in India and the education is based on the Gurukula system. Being a center of excellence, this university is regarded as on of the best educational institutions in the country.

It reflects a beautiful blend of ancient and modern architectural designs. The domes of this yellowish colour build are reminiscent of medieval mugal edifices.
