Location
Shyam Mandir Temple is the new name of Veeranna Gutta. The local population still uses the old name “Veeranna Gutta‿ to refer Shyam Mandir Temple. The temple has great beauty and splendor; it is located on a small hillock. Originally, the temple had lord Hanuman as main shrine; however, later a temple for lord Shiva was built. It is now recreated.
At present, the premises constitute temples for Lord Sri Anjaneya, Lord Sri Kaal Bhairava, Lord Sri Radha Krishna, Lord Sri Shiva, and Lord Sri Shyam Baba. The mandir has also encloses temples for Amba Mata, Naag Devta, and possibly Navagraha.
