Nehru Nilaya

Location

Nehru Nilaya is a glorious bungalow with a distinctive British style and arrangement. It was once upon a time a summer residence for Sir Markcubbon K.C.B who was the then Commisioner of Mysore. The SAARC Summit of 1986 was held in this bungalow. This Nilaya has now been converted as a guest house of the horticulture department of India. No one is allowed to enter the building.

The place has some very good panoramas which can be captured on a camera. Also on the sides of the Nehru Nilaya there are some seating and playing arrangements which allow the tourist to relax before continuing their tour.
