Damdama Lake

Location

Damdama Lake, located around 20 km south from Gurgaon, is a popular picnic spot among tourists visiting Gurgaon. Located near the Aravalli Hills, this lake is one of the biggest natural lakes in Haryana. Tourists visiting this place can indulge in boating, hot air ballooning, parasailing, kayaking and fishing.

On the old Delhi- Alwar Highway, 64 km from Delhi is located the Damdama Lake, in the form of an amoeba. Damdama is one of Haryana's largest natural lakes and a favored weekend spot for locals as well as tourists. Flanked by the Aravalli mountains, this water wonderland is famous for its various boating opportunities.

Adventure sports like rock climbing, trekking and camping are also possible in the destination. The lake is home to around 190 species of birds, including water fowl, terns, egrets and kingfisher. Best time to visit the lake is from October through March.
