Chaangdev village nearby Alandi is a great religious attraction. The word Changa means good and also is a name of a Shiva Jyotirlinga and the form of Lord Shiva, Bhairava. Changdev village, earlier known as Shri Kshetra Bhingnapur, is a calm place adorned with legendary stories of Chaangdev Maharaj. It is believed that Yogi Chaangdev Maharaj had lived in this place for 1400 years.
Chaangdev Bhinta is an old temple dedicated to Chaangdev Maharaj, which is at present a protected Archeological Survey of India monument. This temple is located at a scenic place in which the rivers Purna and Tapi join.
