Location
Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum, also known as Udaipur Folk Museum, is located to the north of Chetak circle in Udaipur and attracts many people who are interested in artifacts and curious to know how of making these items. This museum has a fine collection of paintings, folk musical instruments, folk dresses and ornaments, dolls, masks, puppets and idols of Gods and Goddesses.
A spectacular attraction here is the Puppet shows, wonderfully produced and directed, which are performed all through the day for the visitors. Many short term courses are offered by the Museum including puppet making and theater.
Museum is open all days except for public holidays, Timing: 9 am to 4pm.
